With the SRT feature in Premiere Pro 24 you can stream to Pixelview without requiring any hardware. We also support streaming with NDI+OBS that offers a bit better latency and stability but requires more setup.
Sign up here to receive your login credentials.
Apply for login credential in the link above if you don't have it already.
Open Preferences and select Playback.
In the list select both video and audio for Adobe SRT.
Click the wheel to open the server settings and fill in the details from the email.
Save and open up the login.pixelview/xxxxx admin page you received in the email.
Click the "Watch Link" to view the stream.
After a few seconds Premiere should start streaming and it will say "Streaming" below the Program monitor. You might need to refresh the watch link page once.
If you are seeing artefacts or other glitches in the stream there are a couple of settings to change.
In the SRT protocol, this parameter is used to mitigate bad network between you and the server. It should be no less than twice the round-trip between encoder and ingest server. Increasing it will lead to slighly longer latency but a more stable stream.
In the SRT settings in Premiere, try a higher latency value.
If you are loosing audio in the stream, contact hello@pixelview.io and we can try to adjust a few settings as well.
You can also try the NDI features that currently works better than the SRT way of streaming.
